I need some advice ladies. My Wife is away, at the moment, and I have struck a snag, with the Housework.
In her wisdom, she bought fitted sheets.Ones with Elastic all round.
Washed them OK, but I haven't a clue of the correct method to fold,to put in Linen closet.
Got the you know what's, and threw them in the Closet, and slammed the door.:D
    Any trick to folding? Thanks.:)

    Dougie?

Will she shout if they aint right?

Fold them as you would do with normal sheets.

    Fold down the middle evenly.

Fold again but what I do is just fole them so the elastic pieces are tucked inside so they look neat in the cupboard.

    Strech them out.

Ok fold niceley in half and instead of in half again fold them in three.

Fold the first edge of lastic corner in then the other edge/side in.

Then fold again you just need to hide the elastic sides.

There is really one simple rule to follow. Please take notes. After you have followed JBs instructions and have them looking as good as they can; take the set that is on your bed wash them and return them to your bed.

Under no circumstance are you to ever, ever use any of the ones that are folded until you are ready to bin the ones you are using.

This is commonly known as a repair install!!

    Dougie,

Cheat, run down to the store and buy new ones, remove the plastic wrapping and place in cupboard.

I hate these type of sheets and avoid them, However the best way I have found to fold them is to place them on a bed, and fold the elastic sides in, then fold in half and fold in half again as JB has said, then decide your wasting your time and screw them up into a ball and place in washing basket,

just before your wife is about to return place in washing machine, and dry, on wife's arrival home the phrase, O Dear I forgot to fold and put these away will be appropriate, ;)

Oh dod, forgive me Dougie, but I have tears in my eyes from laughter!

Fitted sheets are a curse/blessing all in one for darn near everyone. All the advise is great and I should confess for the most part, I simply fold the blasted things the very best I can ... open up the final fold of it's matching top sheet (folded perfectly, of course :)), place the pesky fitted sheet inside and pop they entire set in the cupboard with the lovely fold facing outward. Aah, perfection (at least on the surface of things) - huge grin.
