Help with Windows Live Hotmail

I am helping a friend who has forgot his his password for his Hotmail. The
instructions to change his password was mailed to his Hotmail. After
following the instructions, and changing the password, I am no longer able to
log into Windows Live to access his Hotmail. Please help.
