Situation is the following: Windows Server 2003 that is also DC, there are a
    bunch of shares on it.
Until yesterday domain users used to access it, while users not belonging to
domain were prompted for username and password.
Suddendly no-domain users receive an"Access Denied" message, without being
    prompted for password.
Domain users, instead, don't experience any problems.
Nothing changes rebooting or using safe mode.
    Any clue?

    A little update.
This strange behavior occurred right after giving full control permission to
    Everyone under DCOM Security.
This permission was set up by a consultant when he installed a 3rd Party
    software last week.
May this setting be the responsible?
